Vamsi Tetali, founder and CEO of Synenté

Experience assessing CEOs and CFOs

Vamsi brings more than a decade of leadership advisory work and nearly 1,000 executive assessments across his career, the majority involving CEOs and CFOs of private-equity portfolio companies.

He developed Narrative Vector to understand leaders as developing systems: how their thinking, motivation and capabilities have taken shape, and how that pattern may meet the demands of a new role.

His perspective also draws on building software products and running a software company. He is the co-author of two Harvard Business Review articles, published in 2017 and 2018.

Working with Synenté

Work directly with Vamsi

Vamsi conducts the assessment and discusses his conclusions with you. When the findings challenge your view of a candidate, you can work through the evidence with the person who reached that judgment.

Expert peer review

Every Synenté assessment receives expert peer review. We examine the reasoning behind the recommendation, including evidence that complicates it and uncertainties that could matter to your decision.

Respect for the executive

The executive may become your next CEO or remain part of the team after an investment. We approach the assessment with that relationship in mind. An optional feedback call gives the executive a candid account of their strengths and development needs.
